Arsenal and Leicester are both keeping tabs on Villarreal winger Yeremi Pino, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The 18-year-old has had an excellent start to the season for his club, having scored one goal and provided three assists in six league appearances.

It led to Pino being called up to the Spanish national team, and he made his debut as a second-half substitute, replacing Ferran Torres, in the 2-1 win over Italy on Wednesday evening.

The teenager was plucked from the youth team by Villarreal manager Unai Emery at the start of last season and he has subsequently become a regular starter for the La Liga side.

Pino does generally play as a right-winger but, he is predominantly right-footed, so he could well be a target for the Gunners as they look to strengthen their options on the left flank.

The Spanish international only signed a new contract at Villarreal last November so it may be a challenge to prise him away from El Madrigal.
