Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all “interested” in signing Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling if he is made available for transfer this summer, according to the Daily Star.
The 27-year-old, who has been capped 72 times for England, is closing in on the final twelve months of his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
With talks over an extension having stalled, the Citizens will look to offload Sterling at the end of the season, unless there is a breakthrough over a new deal before then.
It is believed that City would demand around £50m for Sterling, which is pretty steep considering his contract situation, and it places question marks over whether the Gunners would be tempted by his availability.
Manager Mikel Arteta is known to be an admirer of the Englishman, having worked with him during his time as assistant manager at City, so we shall have to wait and see how this story plays out.
