Stuttgart are expected to sell on Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos for a massive profit next summer, according to Bild.
The German tabloid report that the Bundesliga club agreed an option to buy the Gunners defender when they loaned him out for the season in July.
It is believed that Arsenal only managed to agree a €3m (£2.56m) fee for Mavropanos but, after a very impressive first half to the campaign for Stuttgart, the centre-back’s value is rising fast.
In fact, Bild claim that Stuttgart may hold out for as much as €25m (£21.37m) next year after they trigger their purchase clause on the Greek international.
Borussia Dortmund, West Ham and Newcastle are all said to be keen on snapping up Mavropanos so the price tag is thought to be a realistic one. It would, though, mean the Gunners could lose out on £18.8m, which would go down as a big error by technical director Edu.
