Inter Milan “will not consider” any bids for Arsenal target Lautaro Martinez if Chelsea sign Romelu Lukaku, according to Sky Italia.
The Serie A champions are not willing to sell both players this summer and, with Lukaku seemingly on the verge of moving back to Stamford Bridge, it seems the Gunners will miss out on Martinez.
It had been claimed that Martinez had been discussed during talks about Hector Bellerin, but Sky say that while an “approach” was made, no official offer was put on the table.
The main reason for that is likely the Argentinian international’s price tag, which is reportedly €90m (£76m). Arsenal may need to offload a number of players in order to finance the move.
On top of that, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah would also have to be sold to make room in the squad, but neither player seems close to leaving the Emirates currently.
