Arsenal are interested in signing West Brom forward Reyes Cleary, according to reports in the English media.
The 17-year-old is yet to sign a professional contract with the Baggies, despite having scored a shedload of goals at youth level this season.
Cleary has been offered a new deal but the teenager has not put pen to paper on an extension so far, leading to the Gunners taking a keen interest in the player’s situation.
There will be a lot of competition for Cleary’s signature, though, with Southampton, Everton, Newcastle, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and Red Bull Salzburg also said to be ready to make their move.
Despite being prolific for West Brom’s Under 18s and Under 23s, Cleary has only made one first-team appearance so far this campaign. He was handed his senior debut in the FA Cup back in January, playing the last twenty minutes of the 2-1 defeat to Brighton.
