Arsenal are one of seven teams in the “queue” to sign Ajax winger Antony, according to Calciomercato.it.

The Brazilian international has been in excellent form this season, with 12 goals and 10 assists in 33 appearances, and the Gunners are seemingly among those looking to secure his services this summer.

Manchester United are also said to be interested, with prospective new coach Erik ten Hag reportedly looking to bring Antony with him to Old Trafford.

Liverpool, Manchester City, and Barcelona are the other teams involved, along with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, who have entered the race as they seek replacements for both Gareth Bale and Angel Di Maria respectively.

It is believed that Ajax would want at least €40m (£33.6m) for Antony, although that price could increase, considering the amount of interest being shown in the player.

The 22-year-old usually plays on the right-wing so he would be in direct competition with Bukayo Saka. With Arsenal heavily linked with Leeds’ Raphinha, it does appear that the London club are seeking to strengthen that side of the pitch.
