Arsenal left-back Sead Kolasinac has held conversations with Mesut Ozil as he weighs up a potential switch to Fenerbahce, according to reports in the Turkish media.
The Bosnian international will not join Schalke on a permanent basis, after spending a season on loan with the Bundesliga club, so he is said to be considering his next move.
Fenerbahce are interested in strengthening their options on the left-hand side of defence, with the Yellow Canaries keen to provide some competition for current first-choice Filip Novak.
With Ozil being close friends with Kolasinac, it is not surprising that the pair would be communicating regarding a potential transfer, especially as the Bosnian seemingly has no future at the Emirates.
The Gunners are believed to be actively looking to sign another left-back to provide competition for Kieran Tierney, with the likes of Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand, Crystal Palace’s Tyrick Mitchell and Hibernian’s Josh Doig all having been mentioned as potential targets.
