Arsenal are weighing up a move for Lille winger Edon Zhegrova, according to reports in the English media.
The Kosovan international only moved from FC Basel during the January transfer window but the Gunners have taken a keen interest in the player following his performances in Ligue One over the past few months.
Zhegrova usually plays off the right-wing, cutting in onto his stronger left foot, which does suggest that he would be a replacement for Nicolas Pepe, who is expected to leave the Emirates at the end of the season.
It is believed that Lille could be willing to make a quick buck on the 23-year-old, who they signed for €7m (£5.83m). £11m could reportedly be enough to secure his services this summer.
Bringing in a cheap replacement for Pepe may not seem like a great idea but, considering Zhegrova would only be a backup for Bukayo Saka, the money saved (if Pepe is sold) could be added to the transfer kitty to sign another striker.
