Arsenal will offer Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar a £100k a week contract, according to the Sun journalist Jordan Davies.
The reporter claims that the proposal has been “put on the table” with the Gunners confident they can sign the 22-year-old for only £20m this summer:

Aouar’s low asking price is due to the fact that Lyon failed to qualify for the Champions League and the Ligue One club need to cover their losses by selling some high-profile players at knockdown prices.
Liverpool are also said to be interested in the France Under 21 international, but Arsenal are believed to be leading the race to secure his signature at the present time.
Aouar did struggle with his form somewhat last season, but he still managed to score eight goals and provide four assists in 33 appearances, and if the Gunners can get the deal over the line quickly, it would be a massive coup.
