Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been nominated for the Premier League’s October Player of the Month award.
The 23-year-old kept two clean sheets in four matches over the course of October, including an outstanding display to keep out Leicester in the 2-0 win last Saturday.
Ramsdale has established himself as the Gunners’ first-choice keeper since the September international break and he has already become a popular figure among fans.
He will, though, be going up against some tough competition for the monthly prize, with Liverpool’s Mo Salah, West Ham’s Declan Rice, Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell, Burnley’s Max Cornet, Manchester City’s Phil Foden, Leicester’s Youri Tielemans and Southampton’s Valentino Livramento the other nominees.
