Arsenal could take advantage after Sevilla dropped their valuation of Youssef En-Nesyri, according to Fichajes.net.
The Spanish rumour mongers claim that the Moroccan international may well be available for around €30m (£25m) this summer following a season blighted by injury.
En-Nesyri has only managed 17 appearances in all competitions this campaign, scoring three goals, but he is still only 24 years of age and, after hitting the back of the net 24 times last season, it may be an option that the Gunners consider exploring.
Mikel Arteta’s side are not believed to be the only Premier League team pursuing the striker, with Fichajes.net reporting that Newcastle United are also keeping tabs on him.
However, the Magpies’ relationship with Sevilla may well be strained after their failure to secure the signature of centre-back Diego Carlos during the January transfer window. That could just give Arsenal the edge if they do enter negotiations for En-Nesyri.
