Arsenal are interested in Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, according to reports in the English media.
The 23-year-old has been frozen out by manager Thomas Tuchel and he will be sold if a club offers £40m for the England international this summer.
Whether the Gunners will pay Abraham’s asking price, it remains to be seen. Any official bid is likely to be dependent on selling both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.
The two strikers have less than a year left on their contracts at the Emirates and they are not expected to sign extensions. The London club would definitely be open to offloading the pair, but at this stage, no offers have been forthcoming.
West Ham and Crystal Palace are said to be interested in Nketiah but no teams have come forward for Lacazette so far.
In terms of Abraham, Chelsea are keen to sell him as soon as possible in order to fund their move for Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland so, by the time Arsenal have sold Nketiah or Lacazette, the Blues forward may have already found another club.
