Arsenal’s medical department have not put a time frame on Thomas Partey’s return from a thigh injury.
The Ghanaian picked up the problem in the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday night and he is now expected to be out for at least a few weeks.
While there is still some optimism that Partey will return before the end of the season, he will miss a number of important matches in the Gunners’ battle to finish in the Champions League places. Needless to say, supporters on Twitter are worried about what his absence will mean for their top-four chances:

It’s a bitter blow for manager Mikel Arteta. Arsenal’s record without Partey this season is pretty poor and, if he doesn’t make it back in time for the games against Chelsea and Manchester United later this month, it could seriously damage their hopes of finishing fourth. Fans will be keeping their fingers crossed for a quicker than expected recovery.
