Arsenal have made decisions on the futures of William Saliba, Hector Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, according to Football.London‘s Chris Wheatley.
The website’s Gunners correspondent claims that the London club will review Saliba’s situation in the summer and they are intending to hold “preliminary” discussions over a contract extension.
Saliba is currently on loan at Marseille, and the French club are keen to keep hold of the defender on a permanent basis, but the player is expected to return to London Colney at the end of the season.
However, two other loanees are very likely to leave when the current campaign is over. Hector Bellerin was loaned out to Real Betis back in August and, while there is no option to buy in the current agreement, it is believed that a deal will be worked on so the fullback can remain in Spain.
Maitland-Niles, meanwhile, has struggled during his loan spell at Roma so far, so it looks as though he will be sold when he returns to England in July.
