Arsenal technical director Edu is in “constant dialogue” with agent Jorge Mendes as the Gunners look to sign Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves, according to The Sun‘s Jordan Davies.
The Portuguese international is seen as the perfect replacement for Granit Xhaka, who is determined to seal a move to Roma.

Neves would likely be Arsenal’s third signing of the summer transfer window, after Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga, if the London club can agree a fee with Wolves.
Currently, the Midlands side are holding out for £35m, which is seen as too much by the Gunners, and it remains to be seen whether they can negotiate down the price.
Neves is also thought to be a target for Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who worked with him previously at Molineux, but Arsenal’s North London rivals are not believed to be actively pursuing a deal for the Portuguese international, leaving Mikel Arteta’s side as firm favourites for the player’s signature.
