Juventus midfielder Arthur is keen on making the move to Arsenal this month, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Reports in the French media this morning have claimed that the Gunners have stepped up their attempts to sign the Brazilian international and TMW not only confirm the story but have added their own take.
It is believed that Arthur is considering leaving the Bianconeri for Arsenal with it being suggested “he has opened up to the possible transfer” in order to get more game time.
However, there is still one major obstacle stopping the 25-year-old from making the switch to the Emirates. Juve have not yet agreed to sell the player and there is likely to be some tough negotiations ahead in order to agree a fee of some kind.
Manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that he wants to shore up his numbers in midfield and it appears that Arthur is now his primary target.
