Arsenal have “been offered” Everton forward Richarlison ahead of the summer transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones.
The Brazilian international is expected to leave Goodison Park at the end of the season and Jones says that the 24-year-old is a player the Gunners may consider making a move for:
“I think Arsenal definitely have a possibility of signing Richarlison. They know that he could leave Everton and is likely to leave Everton in the summer. They’ve been offered the chance to sign him.”
Reports in Brazil earlier this month claimed that Richarlison is being pursued by Manchester United, which has subsequently been confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Other Premier League clubs, including Tottenham and Newcastle, are also said to be in the frame to sign the Brazilian, and it remains to be seen who will become the frontrunners to secure his signature.
It is believed that Everton may look to hold out for as much as €80m (£67m) for Richarlison but that figure could be reduced significantly if the Toffees are relegated from the Premier League. With the player also reportedly determined to move, this could turn into a summer-long transfer saga.
