Juventus have told Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic that they “cannot offer guarantees” about a potential bid for the Serbian international, according to TMW’s editor Tancredi Palmieri.

The Bianconeri are believed to be the 21-year-old’s first choice but Palmieri claims that the Serie A side may not be able to afford the player, even if they qualify for the Champions League.

Vlahovic has been in incredible form so far this season in front of goal, having bagged 18 goals in just 20 appearances, and it has been reported that Arsenal are keen on securing his services.

However, Palmieri doesn’t put the Gunners’ name forward as a potential alternative destination for Vlahovic, with both Tottenham and Manchester City reportedly possible candidates.

The Serbian has refused to sign a new contract at Fiorentina, and the Viola may look to offload the player for around €65m (£55m). That sort of figure could tempt Arsenal, who are looking to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
