Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is currently sidelined with the virus but, with the Gunners’ next game being against Crystal Palace on Monday, the 20-year-old should be available for the trip to Selhurst Park.
Aaron Ramsdale remains sidelined with a hip injury he picked up in the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool. It is touch and go whether the keeper will be fit to face the Eagles as it’s estimated that he will be out for two to three weeks.
Emile Smith Rowe has returned to training for England. The attacking midfielder did not take any part in the 2-1 friendly win over Switzerland at the weekend due to a knock but he is now back available. We shall see if he takes part against Ivory Coast this evening.
Gabriel Martinelli missed the victory over Aston Villa due to illness but he made his debut for Brazil as a substitute in the 4-0 win against Chile on Friday so there are no concerns about his fitness.
Takehiro Tomiyasu remains out of contention with a calf injury but there is a chance he’ll be back in the matchday squad for the Palace match.
