Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has refused to give an estimate on when left-back Kieran Tierney could return from injury after he was absent for the 2-0 win over Leicester City yesterday afternoon.
The Scotland international has not played since the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace earlier this month due to an ankle problem and he has now missed three matches.
Arteta says Tierney remains in pain and has been unable to take part in full training. We shall see if the issue can be resolved before next Sunday’s game against Watford.
Pablo Mari was also not in the matchday squad for the Leicester victory. The Spaniard has been suffering with an illness so he should be back in contention for next weekend.
Granit Xhaka is still recovering from the knee injury that he sustained in the North London derby back in September and he is only expected to make his comeback sometime in December.
