Michael Owen expects Arsenal to suffer their fourth defeat in five Premier League games when they take on Burnley tomorrow afternoon.

The BT Sport pundit says he was not convinced by the Gunners’ 1-0 victory over Norwich City last weekend, and he feels Mikel Arteta’s side could come unstuck when they line up at Turf Moor this weekend:

“Arsenal may have got the win against Norwich last week, but I’m still not overly impressed with them. A club like Arsenal should be scoring a lot more than just one goal through the opening four games. There’s been a lot of changes in the team and a settled side should help them.”

“Turf Moor will be in good voice for this game. Those fans love the visit of the big teams, and Arsenal are always vulnerable on these sorts of away trips. I fancy Burnley to get a vital three points here.”

Owen has gone for a 2-1 win to Burnley, which is a surprising scoreline, considering that the Clarets have not won either of their home games so far this season.

They lost against Brighton on the opening day, whilst they were held by Leeds United at the end of last month. That would suggest that Arsenal should be favourites to get some sort of result from tomorrow’s game.

It will undoubtedly be a tight contest. Burnley rarely give goals away while, as Owen mentions, the Gunners have struggled to score themselve. For that reason alone, you would think a draw would be a more likely scoreline than a 2-1 defeat, but we shall see how things turn out.
