Bordeaux are expecting to receive bids from both Arsenal and Tottenham for attacking midfielder Yacine Adli, according to Foot Mercato‘s Santi Aouna.
The French journalist reports that both North London clubs have “made contact” about signing the 21-year-old with an “offer coming soon” from the two teams:
? Info : Comme évoqué en mai, #Milan est bien intéressé par Yacine Adli ???? .
Offre de 12M€ + 10% à la revente. #Bordeaux réclame plus d’argent. Discussions toujours en cours.
Contact avec #Arsenal et #Tottenham. Offre à venir prochainement.#Lille est toujours intéressé https://t.co/g8n64T7rQZ pic.twitter.com/k2GLySOuq2

As Aouna also mentions, AC Milan are the third team involved in the race for Adli’s signature. They have already tabled a bid of €12m (£10m) for the Frenchman, but Bordeaux are said to be demanding a higher fee.
It’s unlikely that Adli is being lined up by Arsenal as a potential alternative to James Maddison, mainly due to the fact he lacks the experience required to play at the highest level.
The midfielder has only made 70 appearances in his senior career so far, and his numbers are not particularly impressive, having scored five goals and contributed eight assists. He is very much one for the future.
