Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has dropped a big hint that he will return from injury in the very near future.
The Ghanaian international has been out with a thigh problem since the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace last month but he has responded to a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account, stating he is hopeful of linking up with the fit-again Takehiro Tomiyasu “soon”:
🔥🔥🔥 Tom X Tom soon 😆😆😆😆

Understandably, this has got a lot of fans excited by the prospect that Partey could return to full fitness before the end of the season:

Gunners’ boss Mikel Arteta has previously suggested that Partey may not play again this campaign, which came as a blow to supporters, who felt that the midfielder was key to their chances of securing Champions League qualification.
Mohamed Elneny has, however, filled in ably in Partey’s absence, but it would be a big boost for Arsenal if the 28-year-old is available for the run-in, especially with a huge North London derby on the horizon.
