Arsenal, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid could all reignite their pursuit of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez this summer, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via TMW).
The Argentinian international has been on the Gunners’ wishlist in previous transfer windows and Inter may consider offers for the player at the end of the season.
It has been claimed in recent weeks that Martinez could be sold for a fee in the region of €90m (£76m). That would be a sizeable outlay for the Gunners but they were thought to be prepared to pay a similar amount for Dusan Vlahovic back in January.
The Serbian ended up moving to Juventus for £62.5m instead, but Martinez is another option Arsenal may consider as they look to strengthen their options up front.
The 24-year-old has bagged 16 goals in 38 appearances for Inter this campaign and, while there are more prolific forwards out on the market, his pace and ability to press the ball could make him a good fit for Mikel Arteta’s system.
