Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey put in a disciplined performance to help his team secure a vital three points against Wolves last night.
The Ghanaian was booked after 33 minutes but he didn’t let it phase him as he showed great composure throughout the second half, even after Gabriel Martinelli’s sending off.
Supporters on Twitter praised Partey for the maturity he showed, and they are hoping that he continues to demonstrate the same level of discipline and experience in future games:
Partey showing levels,,, give him someone like Tielemans or Neves and he’s gonna light the world on fire

That was the performance of a top CM, he controlled the pace of the game and was great at mopping up in front of the back 4/5
It’s been said that once Thomas gets his confidence and shows his real ability we have the best C Midfielder in the chasing pack of clubs— NowItsParteyTime 🇬🇭🏴 (@rpembs14) February 10, 2022
His standards are so high he’s actually so over criticised

Really good game from him, the yellow card shouldn’t overshadow that

Xhaka and Partey handled the yellow cards well

Partey didn’t get off to the best of starts at Molineux last night. An errant clearance could have led to an early goal for Wolves, and things didn’t get much better when he was shown a yellow card.
However, he grew into the game, and his ability to carry the ball forward and offload to teammates at the right time helped the Gunners get over the line, despite having to hold on for the last 20 minutes.
