Tottenham have entered the race to sign Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to ESPN.
Arsenal and Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the Belgian international, who could be available for only £25m with the player having twelve months left on his contract.
The Gunners have reportedly held talks with Tielemans’ agent in recent months and a number of sources have suggested that the 25-year-old is a key summer target for manager Mikel Arteta.
However, Spurs’s involvement does complicate matters. It has been claimed that Tielemans is keen on leaving the Foxes as he wants to play in the Champions League.
With Antonio Conte’s side having pipped Arsenal to fourth place, it means they could well be a more attractive destination for the midfielder. With the Gunners having already held discussions about a move, though, it will be hoped that they still have an advantage in the battle for Tielemans’ signature.
