Arsenal have made an enquiry for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, according to reports in the English media.
The Argentinian international has a €111m (£95m) release clause, which the Gunners would likely have to pay if they wanted to sign the player this summer.
Supporters on Twitter are unsurprisingly sceptical about the possibility of Martinez moving to the Emirates:

There’s no way Inter will let him go, unless it’s a ridiculous offer

Martinez is coming off the back of a season where he won the Serie A title and he will be lining up for Inter in the Champions League group stage in September.
In contrast, the Gunners finished midtable and did not even qualify for Europe so you can hardly blame fans for raising their eyebrows about pursuing a deal for the Argentine.
Money does talk, as we have seen with certain transfers in the past, but it would be a big shock if we did see Martinez in an Arsenal shirt anytime soon.
