Arsenal are one of three teams that are keen on signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby, according to Sport1‘s chief reporter Patrick Berger.
The German journalist claims that the Frenchman could cost as much as €60m (£50m) with the player also said to be a target for Manchester United and Newcastle:
Manchester United, FC Arsenal and Newcastle are interested in Moussa Diaby. The French winger from Bayer Leverkusen (16 goals/9 assists this seasons) has no release clause. Price tag: €60m. As a potential successor Bayer monitoring Carles Pérez from AS Roma. @SPORT1

As Berger points out, Diaby has been in superb form so far this season, and most fans on Twitter would be delighted if he does end up moving to the Emirates this summer:
This would be fantastic business, he is a monster! Praying for Diaby to STRIVE, don’t care if we already have Saka, never turn down quality!

I was so impressed watching him play, he’s direct, strong and has pace. We can bring him in when we offload Pepe.

Some have questioned whether the Gunners actually need another winger, but to be competing with the best teams in the league, you need to have depth up front.
Diaby is a left-footed wide player, who is equally comfortable playing on either side of the pitch, so he would certainly keep the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli on their toes.
Whether Arsenal would splash out £50m on the 22-year-old, when their main priority is a centre forward, is another matter entirely.
