Arsenal duo Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli have been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award.
The two players have been recognised for their excellent performances during December, where they helped the Gunners to four wins out of six.
Odegaard got himself three goals and three assists over the month, while Martinelli bagged three goals and two assists of his own.
Both have really kicked on with their displays in recent weeks, with Odegaard reacting to a spell out of the team with some superb performances, while Martinelli has rediscovered the form he showed when he first broke into the side a couple of years ago.
The pair will be going up against Chelsea’s Mason Mount, Leicester attacking midfielder James Maddison, Tottenham forward Son Heung-min and Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo & Raheem Sterling.
