Celtic have received an approach from Tunisian champions Esperance for striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo, according to reports in the Scottish media.
The Ivorian is unlikely to move to Toulouse on a permanent basis when his loan deal expires in the summer so the Hoops will welcome the enquiry from another club.
During his time playing in France’s second division, Bayo has scored just six goals in 20 appearances and fans on Twitter have been debating whether they want the 24-year-old to leave:

The more money we can bring in for the rebuild the better. Bayo is never going to do as he couldn’t trap a bag of cement

Another player not gave nearly enough time to show his worth. He could do some damage with decent wingers to give him the ball.

Celtic spent £2m on Bayo two years ago but he struggled to make an impact at Parkhead before being loaned out to Toulouse. His sale could be a good way to raise funds for the expected revamp of the first-team squad.
The Hoops have already offloaded one forward, with Patryk Klimala having been sold to New York Red Bulls for an initial £3.5m, and they will be hoping to get a decent price for Bayo as well.
