Celtic are now demanding that Eddie Howe makes up his mind on whether to take the manager’s job at Parkhead, according to Alan Nixon.
The respected Sun journalist was asked whether the 43-year-old would be appointed in the near future when he replied:

It does suggest that Howe’s appointment isn’t set in stone as some other reporters have claimed, and it remains to be seen what the hold-up has been in terms of the Englishman making his decision.
There were claims that the delay was simply because Howe wanted to bring in a number of backroom staff from Bournemouth, with their participation in the English Championship playoffs making that difficult to achieve.
However, with the Cherries having been knocked out by Brentford last weekend, there are very few excuses left, and it seems things will come to a head very soon.
With Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Wolves all looking for new managers, the pressure is on to secure Howe’s signature before other teams potentially make their move.
