Celtic Park is the tenth most popular UK stadium on Instagram, according to new data put together by Liverugbytickets.co.uk (via Football Scotland).
The website researched which stadium hashtags were most often used on the social media network, with 58,200 being linked to the Hoops’ home ground
England’s Wembley Stadium came out on top with 1,657,000, Liverpool’s Anfield was second on 1,406,000 and Manchester United’s Old Trafford was third with 1,200,000.
Stamford Bridge (551,000), The Emirates (253,000), The Etihad (178,000), Villa Park (145,000), the London Stadium (64,700) and Elland Road (64,700) made up the top nine.
Celtic Park is the only Scottish Stadium in the top 15, with Glasgow rivals Rangers’ Ibrox Stadium not even mentioned.
The atmosphere when the Hoops play is renowned across the globe and, with 60,000 people supporting the team, it is no wonder so many share pictures of the crowd and the stadium itself.
Manager Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to utilise the fantastic support as he attempts to guide Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title this season.
