Celtic, along with several English Premier League teams, are interested in snapping up Burnley winger Robbie Brady on a free transfer, according to The Athletic.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at the end of June and he is unlikely to renew his current deal at Turf Moor, prompting a scramble for his signature.
Brady was signed by Burnley from Norwich City for £13m in the 2017 January transfer window, but he has struggled for form and fitness over the past four years, having not reached 20 league games in a single campaign for the Clarets.
The Republic of Ireland international was first linked with Celtic last summer, and it appears the club’s recruitment department have been keeping tabs on the winger since then.
However, it is very unlikely that the Hoops will make a move for Brady until a decision has been made on a new manager and director of football.
