Celtic’s option to buy Cameron Carter-Vickers expires on June 15th, according to reports in the USA.

The Hoops have a purchase clause included in their loan agreement with Tottenham for the defender, but it is now due to expiry in three weeks’ time.

After then, other interested clubs can make an approach to sign Carter-Vickers from Spurs. At the moment, there are believed to be four Premier League teams keen on the player, including Everton, Southampton, Fulham and Bournemouth.

It means that Celtic will be pressing the centre-back for a decision, so they can seal a deal which is believed to be worth an initial £6m, with add-ons that could increase the fee to £10m.

Carter-Vickers was asked about his future last week and it doesn’t sound as though he is close to deciding where he wants to play next season. Supporters will be keeping their fingers crossed that he opts to remain at Parkhead.
