Celtic left-back Greg Taylor put in a much-improved performance against Livingston in the 3-1 win yesterday afternoon.
Although he wasn’t particularly effective in the final third of the pitch, he defended very well and put his body on the line to help the Hoops secure an important victory.
Supporters on Twitter believe Taylor deserved a lot of credit for his display at the Toni Macaroni Arena after receiving a fair amount of criticism in recent weeks:
He has been class 💪🏽☘️💚

Definate signs of improvement, hes looking more capable of going past players with the ball now. Still think hes got a bit to go tho

Taylor is undoubtedly a divisive figure among the fanbase. Many believe he simply doesn’t possess the quality to play for the Hoops, while others feel his work rate and ability to do the basics make him a decent enough fullback.
Manager Ange Postecoglou seems to think Taylor is first-team material. Despite bringing in over a dozen players since the beginning of his reign last summer, the Australian has kept faith with the defender, who has started 23 games in all competitions this season.
