Celtic target Christopher Scott is struggling to agree a new contract with Bayern Munich, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk.
The German reporter says that the offer on the table from the Bundesliga champions is not deemed acceptable by Scott’s representatives:
TRUE✅ is that Bayern could loose their Talent Christopher Scott (rumours of SKY). Our Information: the offer for a new contract is not high enough for the Scott-side #PodcastBayernInsider @altobelli13

It was believed that Scott would agree a new one-year deal with Bayern before being sold at the end of the season for around €600,000 (£500,000). The benefit for the German side would be that they could also include a buyback clause. However, as things stand, the 19-year-old may leave the Allianz Arena when his contract expires at the end of June.
Celtic are not the only team pursuing Scott, whose style of play has been compared to Chelsea’s Kai Havertz. English Premier League club Brentford have also been keeping tabs on the 19-year-old.
There is still time for Scott to come to an agreement with Bayern, though, but there is an increasing possibility that he could be available on a free transfer.
