Liverpool have joined the race to sign Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, according to reports in England.
The Reds are thought to be looking at signing a new forward in the summer, and it appears they are scouting the France Under 21 international as they consider possible options.
At this stage, it is believed that Edouard is just one of the names being considered, and it remains to be seen whether the Premier League champions will step up their pursuit in the 23-year-old.
Leicester are said to be the team who are most likely to make a bid for the Frenchman, with Arsenal and Roma having also been credited with an interest in recent weeks.
Edouard’s poor recent form, and the fact that his contract expires in 2022, means the player may be sold for as little as £20m, but we shall see whether interest in the striker picks up as we head into the close season.
