AC Milan are interested in signing Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard, and they could offer Diego Laxalt as part of the deal, according to reports in the UK.
The Uruguayan has spent the season on loan with the Hoops, and the Rossoneri value the left-back at £8m. The Serie A side are considering using the player to bring down the cost of buying Edouard.
However, the Hoops are unlikely to accept such a proposal. Laxalt has not impressed during his six-month spell in Scotland, and even if the club were interested in taking him on a permanent basis, they would value him at a much lower amount.
With that all being said then, a move to AC Milan does seem unlikely for Edouard with the Italian side not expected to pay a sizeable sum in cash.
Leicester, Arsenal and Roma are believed to be the other teams interested in the Frenchman, with the Foxes said to be the striker’s likeliest destination currently.
