Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has refused to rule himself out of taking the vacant manager’s job at Celtic.
The 43-year-old has returned to the UK after a stint as MLS side Montreal Impact’s head coach but the Frenchman has said he admires the Hoops and he is keen to get back into management when the opportunity arises:
“I don’t know what’s happening there, this is a club I respect a lot I’m sure like a lot of people in the world, but that I don’t know about… I’m just trying to wait and see. I am available, and I don’t know what’s going to come my way but I want to coach for sure.”
Henry is certainly not one of the favourites to take over at Parkhead and most supporters on Twitter don’t want him to be considered for the role:

Love Henry but I’d rather he came in as a coach than the gaffer

There is no doubt that Henry’s lack of experience would play against him. He has had barely 18 months as a number one during his spells with Monaco and Montreal.
Neither was particularly successful either, securing only two league victories with Monaco, with a win percentage of just 25% in total. Things improved slightly with Montreal, where he managed to win 31% of his 29 matches in charge, but it’s fair to say that his record isn’t particularly great.
