Celtic forward Mohamed Elyounoussi scored the third goal in the Hoops’ 3-0 win over Falkirk in the Scottish Cup third-round tie at the weekend.
The Norwegian international also got on the scoresheet against Rangers in his last game for the club before the international break, with the winger seemingly returning to form.
Elyounoussi had had a decent season, bagging 15 goals and providing six assists in 39 appearances, and fans on Twitter believe the club should do all they can to keep him on a permanent basis when his loan spell ends in the summer:
He’s been one of the few stand outs this season

I’ve always rated him. A great player who gives it all and has a big heart to go with it. ?

Reports have suggested that Southampton have slashed their asking price for Elyounoussi to just £5m but it remains to be seen whether that will be enough to convince Celtic to make a move for the 26-year-old.
If Elyounoussi does continue his scoring streak into the last few weeks of the season, it could well persuade the club into tabling a bid for him.
