As Celtic Football Club have embarked on the 2020-21 season under the crazy restrictions of the virus enforced by the well-meaning but ultimately wide of the mark Scottish government, the new additions to Neil Lennon’s squad will not get the opportunity to impress the fans in the stadium.

When the new players or any of the squad will get a chance to play in front of spectators again we just don’t know but what we do know is that all the televised SPL football matches will enjoy improved TV audiences with the players aware of the many eyes watching them.

It was a relatively busy summer at Celtic Park given the circumstances of this summer with thirteen players either leaving, finishing loan stints with Celtic or going out on loan. Departures included the likes of Frazier Forster, Jonny Hayes and Boli Bolingoli to name but a few.

Neil Lennon has brought in four new players as well as welcoming back 4 players from loan stints (with one player in Jonathan Afolabi already going back out on loan again).

Lennon crucially addressed the glaring need for a new goalkeeper as well as reinforcing the spine of the team by clinching signings for central defender Shane Duffy from Premier League club Brighton, central midfielder David Turnbull from SPL club Motherwell and centre forward Albian Ajeti from Premier League club West Ham. You would think all these moves should provide some much needed depth at the very least.

The question we have for Celtic fans today is: Which New Celtic Signing Will Have The Most Impact For Neil Lennon? Have your say and vote in the poll below…
