Celtic have identified Motherwell centre-back, Declan Gallagher, along with Peterborough’s Siriki Dembele and Rochdale’s Kwadwo Baah as potential summer signings, according to GiveMeSport.
The club’s scouting department believe the trio could be worthwhile additions to the squad due to their contract situations. Gallagher and Baah’s current deals expire in June while Dembele is expected to be sold at the end of the season with his contract running into its final 12 months.
It remains to be seen whether prospective new head coach Eddie Howe would be interested in signing the three players. Although it is not yet certain that the 43-year-old will be appointed, if he does take up the role, he is expected to have his own ideas on who to recruit.
A massive overhaul of the squad will be needed in the summer, with the Hoops very keen to recover ground after falling quite a way behind Rangers in the Scottish Premiership this season.
