Celtic coach Gavin Strachan will take charge when a much-changed senior side face Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership clash this evening.

Following confirmation of Christopher Jullien’s positive test for the virus, manager Neil Lennon, assistant John Kennedy and 14 players have been asked to self-isolate.

It means Strachan will be on the touchline to help guide a very young team at Parkhead, with the likes of Karamoko Dembele, Cameron Harper and Armstrong Oko-Flex all expected to start.

To help out, reserve team coaches Stephen McManus and Tommy McIntyre will also be in attendance, and it’s highly likely that Lennon will be in contact via video link and phone throughout the 90 minutes.

After Rangers went 22 points clear with their 2-1 win over Aberdeen yesterday, this latest setback could very well put the final nail in the coffin for the Hoops’ title challenge, unless the kids can somehow conjure up an unlikely win tonight.
