Celtic winger Liel Abada has admitted that he would like to move to Liverpool in the future.

The Israeli international only joined from Maccabi Petah Tikva for £3.5m back in July, and while he says his first goal is to make progress during his time with the Hoops, he harbours an ambition to play at Anfield:

“The biggest dream is Liverpool, but I have to keep working hard at Celtic to prove myself and take it step by step. Should Mo Salah worry? From me? No, He is a super player.”

Abada has had a promising start to life at Parkhead, having scored six goals and provided four assists in 15 appearances. However, he has some way to go before he can expect a move to the Premier League.

At 20 years of age, he is still developing as a player, and while he has already demonstrated great potential, there remain inconsistencies in his game that need to be worked on.

Abada goes on to say that he is loving his time at the Scottish club, describing the atmosphere at Celtic Park as sending a “shiver” down his spine. It seems clear that the Israeli won’t be leaving the Hoops anytime soon.
