With the international fixtures out of the way, the attention will now swing back towards Celtic’s attempts to win their tenth league title in a row.

Despite David Turnbull having signed before the 3-0 win against Motherwell at the end of last month, he was an unused substitute against his former club and fans on Twitter believe he should now be given his debut against Ross County at the weekend:

Turnbull does generally play in central midfield, and it will be interesting to see whether manager Neil Lennon changes personnel or even changes system in order to accommodate the 21-year-old.

The midfielder could slot in alongside Scott Brown, with Callum McGregor moving into a more advanced midfield role.

Alternatively, the Hoops could switch to three at the back and include Turnbull alongside McGregor and rest Brown. The club captain will certainly need to be rotated more than he has done in the past considering he is now 35 years of age.
