Chelsea are keen on signing Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer next summer, according to reports.
The Frenchman’s contract at the Camp Nou expires at the end of the season and he is not expected to extend his stay with Barca beyond the summer.
Dembele has also been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal recently, and while the 24-year-old is in high demand, Blues fans on Twitter don’t think the London club should get involved due to his poor injury history:
A French pulisic. No thanks

He surely has talent and I like him but he is injury prone. We already have Puli who is pretty similar to Dembele in that aspect, will this be ideal

The fact that manager Thomas Tuchel has worked with Dembele before at Borussia Dortmund is likely to be one of the main reasons why Chelsea’s interest in the France international is so strong.
Dembele has, however, spent just as much time on the treatment table since he moved to Spain four and a half years ago than playing football, so supporters are right to raise questions about the club’s pursuit of the player.
