Chelsea are continuing to scout transfer targets despite the club’s ownership situation, according to Goal.

The website reports that Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, West Ham’s Declan Rice and Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni are the names that are very much still “on the agenda” as the Blues plan for the summer.

Kounde is expected to fetch around €65m (£54m), while neither Aurelien Tchouameni €60m (£50m) nor Declan Rice (£150m) will be cheap either, although it’s likely that the club will decide to go ahead with a bid for only one of the two midfielders.

With cash bids (estimated to be worth around £2.7bn) expected from four consortiums, it doesn’t look as though Chelsea will have a new owner who is short of cash, so pursuing the likes of Kounde and Rice is unlikely to be an issue.

Of course, there will be competition for some of these players. Rice is being looked at by Manchester United and Manchester City but all reports suggest the West Ham star would prefer a move to Stamford Bridge. In terms of Tchouameni, Real Madrid and Liverpool are also said to be in the mix but it is believed that the Blue’s recruitment department have already put in a lot of groundwork to persuade the Frenchman to make the switch to London.
