Chelsea are one of four clubs interested in signing Fulham attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho, according to Goal.

The website have compared the 19-year-old to Frank Lampard as he has the ability to make late runs from midfield to score goals.

Carvalho’s contract at Fulham expires in June and the Blues are keen on securing the teenager’s signature, along with Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The midfielder is currently looked after by the Unique Sports Management agency but their agreement ends in January and Jorge Mendes is said to be among the favourites to snap him up.

Carvalho is reportedly unwilling to discuss his future until he has a new agent and, with Mendes said to be keen on sending the player to Liverpool, other teams will be hoping he chooses a different representative.

This season, the England youth international has been in excellent form, having scored four goals in 11 appearances, helping Fulham to the top of the English Championship.
