Chelsea are now expected to have a new owner by the end of April if the takeover process, overseen by merchant bank the Raine Group, goes to plan.

There are four bidders: the Boehley/Wyss Consortium, the Ricketts family, the Martin Broughton Consortium and Stephen Pagliuca.

Whoever wins, there are a number of issues, both short and long-term, that they will have to resolve when they take up ownership of the Blues.
