Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen starlet Florian Wirtz ahead of a potential future bid.
The 18-year-old has been in excellent form this season, leading to a number of teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich taking an interest in his development.
After the difficulties experienced by the likes of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner adapting to the Premier League, though, fans on Twitter are not particularly keen on the Blues making a move for Wirtz:
He will flop like Havertz

It’s slightly unfair to tar every player from the Bundesliga with the same brush but supporters are understandably wary considering past experiences.
Wirtz is undoubtedly a promising young talent, though, with the teenager having put in some superb displays so far this campaign, scoring seven goals in 14 appearances for Leverkusen.
Chelsea will likely continue watching the development of the German to see whether he is worth the €100m (£85m) price tag.
